Have spoken with Brunty regarding the sounds levels etc and confirmed these will be enforced on the day due to last year's court action.
Brunty don't offer "muffler cans" for hire any more as too many people drove off with them attached to their cars in the past!!
Those of you that are likely to consider more trackdays in future might consider buying your own and they can be purchased here:
http://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/EXHAU ... _info.html
They can be mail ordered and if you are close enough they will even put one on the car and test before you commit to buy. Got to be worth it if you plan a lot of track events with your car.

Apparently there are too many variances from car to car that to guarantee a reduction is not possible. That's why they offer a test service first for anyone close enough.
Hope it works for you

Half of our reserved spaces for this event have now been taken
Brunty are also commenting that they are receiving a lot more enquiries since All Torque came out so don't delay if you want to take part.

Does anyone live near this "merlin motorsport" with a 964?
Maybe if sumone did they might bob down and check the noise reduction with the muffler on a 64?
Big ask, probably wont happen.

Hi
Not sure if its their main place but they have a shop at Castle Coombe race track (near Stroud in Gloustershire) and also have Decibel meters there for the scrutineers...
Hope this helps.
All the best Brett

I’m pretty sure the B2 was a lot louder than the Vulcan … but that’s Americans for you.

Not officially - if you want to come along ring Fay at Brunty on Monday and book.

You've got to keep the troops fed and watered.

I’m now booked for this, with a tuition session booked in after the first hour or so.
I was planning to bring my Stepdad (with his own car), so we could get all competitive together, but his trackday tyres are shot and he wants to spend his cash on a holiday rather than another set … so it’s just me.
This counts as practice before the Gaydon test track, right?

Be good to meet up - should be a good day out!
