A big thank you for those that turned up today. It was great to see a packed room, especially as we had upgraded from our usual spot downstairs. :)

Apologies that the technology failed. It would have been so much easier to talk through the new website and database on the big screens.

We are in a very good place, with an opportunity to grow further if our promotional activity was joined up using our media to best effect.

I really enjoyed the meeting which was nice and lively, we will finalise the minutes and get them out to the RO's as soon as.

If anyone took any photo's either in or outside could you please ping them over to me :thumbright:

Thanks again

Sounds good Sean, just a shame I couldn't be there.

Good to see a selection of organisers and members. We were pleased with the decisions taken and as Sean says it looks like the club is in a good state of health, hopefully the new website will solve the problem of new members having difficulty joining and paying. Sue says she will have the minutes completed in a couple of days.

If I can re-iterate one thing from the meeting - All Torque needs articles from the members, we don't buy articles in. If you done anything of note, car repairs, journeys etc then consider writing an article and sending it in.

Thanks for the organisation Sean and to the committee for their hard work.

enjoyed the AGM, as usual no fighting or arguing.
Just a gentlemanly discussion :D

Sean would tell us the items for discussion, give us the options, then tell us how he's going to do it

Nice to catch up with some of you, hope to catch you all again later in the year

Thanks to Sean and the committee for continuing to do such a good job

Plus 2!

There's a phrase Sean often uses about our club - we punch above our weight. You can see it in many ways including All Torque, NEC, the national event, the website...

A big reason why we achieve this is the culture Sean has nurtured within the club, and which was evident at the AGM. Informality without anarchy, a structure but no hierarchy in which some members are more powerful/important than others, no politics or big egos. Instead everyone's' opinions are welcomed, valued and discussed. People feel it really is their club, and that's why they put in the effort and time that contributes to TIPEC punching way above it's weight.
