Just finished polishing the 993 within an inch of it's life and now it's relaxing in the warm garage. Will you be bringing any TIPEC goodies Dave? I don't want to tempt fate but I could do with a Brolly.

Hi Dave,
I could do with a Tipec Tax Disc holder, asked you before and Sean too but seem to be struggling for one.

See you in the Morning!!!
Looking forward to it, and the weather looks like its going to stonking!!! :D

I really enjoyed the visit today chaps and I finally got to pop my 928 cherry!! Thanks for the lift John.

I've posted the photos I took today at: http://s911.photobucket.com/albums/ac31 ... il%202010/

Having never done this Photobucket thing before I hope it works OK for you....

Andrew, the web site I spoke about today (993 and LOADS of other stuff...) is at: http://www.jackals-forge.com/lotus/stage.htm
I think the write-up on all things 993 and 968 are brilliant so give it look.

Oh yes, the brake calliper refurbishment outfit are called Classic car Automotive and are based over in Chelford, Macclesfield. No affiliation but they do come highly recommended by the guys over on the 968UK forum..

Cheers

Great to finally meet and chat to some of you guys yesterday 8)

Thanks to Andrew and his team as always I managed to learn something new thanks guys.. even think they managed to put another 2k on Dave's asking price if he decides to sell the car (LOL).

I believe one of the TIPEC guys won a "free" next service from Andy and Nick at RPM in their draw - nice one

Ray, good to meet you I will definitely try to get to the next meet in May at the Bell..

Des (tea and coffee boy)...

I am sure it will be worth the wait Dave and the weather looks fair/good so you should be able get some of those swirls back in no time
