Thanks, Ben.
Hi Ben

The Show is open to everyone.

Tickets in advance are £9 or £11 on the day.

The track is 3 laps of the Jaguar Test Track behind a pace car, they are booked as parade laps but last year some reached speeds in excess of 130mph.

The sales page will be up and running soon and when it goes live I will update the Show page.

For those wanting the track, we are expecting the 120 spaces to sell out very quickly.

When I book my slot I'll order some gaffer tape for Mrs TR7V8! Her squawking on the first lap was louder than the engine noise

Poor Becky!!!! it's a real pain when you're trying to concentrate & not hit the car in front! We hit 125MPH plus at the end of the main straight
On laps 2 & 3 she began to enjoy it. I think it's the fastest she had ever been in a car!

We haven't booked the camping as there is no party this year. However it can be arranged if there is enough demand.
If not we'll find an alternative venue.

If you want to camp please add your name to this list. By using the quote tab instead of reply.

For those that will be hoteling it for Gaydon on the night of the 30th May, these are hotels recommended by Mr. Smallman.
I’ve booked dinner for around 19:30 at the Tarsus which is a Greek restaurant & looks pretty good.
Sean & Hayley will join us there & anyone else local is welcome.

PLEASE ADVISE ME BY MAIL ASAP IF YOU”RE COMING SO I CAN ADVISE THE RESTAURANT!

Try this http://www.tarsusrestaurant.co.uk/index.php?id=57 they have rooms as well.

There is also another hotel in Southam http://www.thestoneythorpehotel.co.uk/Home_Main.htm

Between the two you should be able to accommodate those numbers, we’ll happily join you all for the meal.

Distance to Gaydon from Southam is 8 miles.

For those wanting to camp.

The local pub 500 yards away allows camping but you would call it rough, a field with water.

However the HMC are installing a new shower and toilet block in the show area and they are willing to open it up for us on the morning of the show.

Camping options are:-

Gaydon Inn, 01926 640388

Holt Farm, CV47 1NJ, 01926 812225

Newlands Caravan Park, CV35 9EN, 01789 841096

Just booked my tickets to attend the Porsche Show - my first TIPEC event! (new member). Look forward to bringing down the 911 Cab, and meeting a few fellow members! See you on the 31st!
