Re: TIPEC09 "The Porsche Show" Sunday 31st May
I am of the opinion that we should set a fixed date for the show, ie the last Sunday in May every year.

Totally agree - it makes for annual calendar planning by the ROs much easier.Sean Smallman wrote:I am of the opinion that we should set a fixed date for the show, ie the last Sunday in May every year.

That sounds like a sensible idea.

I think the HMC should build a giant retracting roof, if Wembley and Wimbledon can do it.tr7v8 wrote:I quite agree, do we get fixed weather as well as fixed date.Sean Smallman wrote:I am of the opinion that we should set a fixed date for the show, ie the last Sunday in May every year.

Agreed
As well as helping R.O.'s with planning it also helps traders, entertainers, caterer's etc; not least the venue itself and there are certain events in any calendar year that need stabilising and an annual event is one of them.

Re: TIPEC09 "The Porsche Show" Sunday 31st May
As expected, sun cream was not necessary, but my hat came in very useful
Another thought for next year - why can't those of us who appear 'independently' because our own region is not participating as a group, park with the rest of the TIPEC crowd? Perhaps under a Gruppe area? I was rather upset to find that I had to park with all the non-TIPEC Porsches on the tarmac, instead of on the grass with the rest of the mob.
And thanks for the 'award' from 2007, Sean. Now up in the downstairs cloakroom, as suggested!
