Good day today, the racing tomorrow promises to be excellent.

We are just the past the infield bridge before you go over it, behind the temporary shop on the corner a bit out of the way but not too bad a spot.

Firstly I would like to apologise to all our members that got caught up in the shambles today.

You should have been directed to our display and I will take it up with the organisers on your behalf.

Secondly, the record attempt was always going to be a logistical nightmare. A great idea, that would have gone a whole heap better if it had been attempted at 8am rather than lunchtime.

Oh well, I had a great day chatting with friends and watching some great racing. :)

Well, what a great weekend that was. Good to meet up with some on here but shame we missed others (I believe someone in Central kindly picked up our umbrellas and drink bottle).

Went up on Friday with Ben, no.1 son and spent all day looking at cars and watching racing, highlight was a visit down to the paddock/pit garages and seeing all the historic, rare and interesting cars down there.

Video of him passengering in a Caterham which he loved:

We then spent the evening watching Boot Led Zeppelin, The Commitments and Pink Floyd Reloaded who were all awesome.

Some Floyd video:

Another visit today, this time with Kerry and James, no.2 son. We all had a great day and couldn't get over what a friendly event it was including the owner/driver below letting James into his car.

Anyway, we'll definately be back next year!

Pete Garret from South Central has your brolly and water bottle.

It was good to see you all and I can't believe how big the lads are

Think you need something more like axle grease!

Afraid not, I don't normally take pics of the cars and racing because others do it a lot better!

Thanks Sean, good to see you too.

It is frightening how quickly the boys have grown, that's for sure. I feel like it was just yesterday Kerry was using the rear spoiler of the 996 as a changing table out on meets! The same amount of time again and hopefully they'll have something of their own to drive!

Good event :) Many thanks, Sean, for organising us a nice spot just over the bridge from the chaos :)

Nice to meet fellow TIPEC members and "put faces to names" :)

When I unpack the car and manage to find my camera, I'll post a few pics
