Okay don't get shirty!!!!!!

Have been looking into slick 50 and there are two different potential products one normal engine treatment to be used every 3000 miles and one for high mileage engines that lasts every 5000 miles.

As you insist please tell me which one to use.

I used the ordinary one, you might want to bung a thing of one shot redex through at the same time, remeber dont use a full tank of petrol as it advises, do it with about ten litres in the tank !

I ended up doing it twice so it cost me around 25 quid , the fuel metering head and other parts sometimes get sticky deposits so I used 2 in 2 separate lots of petrol, had no probs since ! Mind you if you look at the latest club mag you will see Jon Mitchell basically rebuilt our ignition and fuel system for us.

helen your 964 didnt have a cdi box !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or at least i dont think it should have had! you had motronic which replaced the cis system so you had the chip etc which was an engine managment system

Have heard that a teacup of ATF & paraffin 50/50 does the same, never tried it. Certainly would smell similar to most of the cleaners, have used Millers & Wynns in the past.

have to say the combo of slick 50 and the one shot redex did it for me .
