Received a response from John offering me a hill run subject to producing Tipec membership card at the event. Have declined this as attending purely for the concours. Will keep you posted on whether a refund is offered for those like me who are not interested in participating in the hill run's

The hill run is worth a go, just to say you have done it. You can drive it at your pace and I am sure there will be opportunity after the concours

John is in a difficult position with the show, the crap weather is putting people off pre-booking. Most will take the opportunity to run up the hill and on that basis we had a chat and are working together to get as many Porsches there as we can.

I have spoken with John Brookes this afternoon and he is concerned that those that have pre-booked are feeling put out as a result of the changed entry for Tipec members.

Obviously this wasn't planned and John is asking that anyone that pre-booked and paid contact him via jebrookes@btinternet.com and he will sort this with you on an individual basis.

Received a response from John Brookes and he has offered a refund.

He has confirmed the event is free to Tipec members parking in the Orchard, however the free to enter concours is not exactly free as member will need to pay the entrance fee of £15.00

No brainer really ........... now minus one concours entrant and future Prescott Revival attendee.

Just goes against my principles

Since my previous post John Brookes has apologised for the confusion over free entry for Tipec members to the event and confirmed this also applies to concours entrants.

Hope the weather is kind to you all over the event weekend.

I'd like to come along, used to love going to Prescott with my friends when we first started driving.

Is the entry per car or person so if I want to bring the family will I need to purchase or book extra tickets?

Is the £20 run up the hill to be booked and paid for on the day or in advance?

2 runs up the hill can be purchased on the day for £20.

I can bring my cycle one or a hardhat, other than that I'm knackered!
