Hi :)

How many 924/944`s have you ever seen with their sunroof missing lol ?

Its a pretty small market to say the least.....

How about this...as you are so sure you will sell it for £850, then if you do I will donate £50 to Help for Heroes and if you dont...then you donate £50 to them ?

Seems fair to me...

All the best Brett :)

why would I want to take your bet even if it is for charity?

I never said I'm sure that it'll sell for £850, if it does fine, if not then so be it, but thats the price. But I am confident that you can't get one made that comparable to this for half the price as you claim.

According to this http://howmanyleft.co.uk/?q=924
There are only around 1000 924s left in captivity, 2000 if you include SORN'd cars! So a very small pool of owners.

£850 is a fair price for a Saratoga Top in good condition. They have been known to sell for a lot more in recent years.

There are very, very few Saratoga Tops in the UK. Less than ten, I reckon. Maybe even less than five …

This one will fit an early, manual roof, 944 as well as a 924.

Agreed I have seen them go close to that price.

Don't worry about Brett one of his hobbies is pulling ads apart.

Good luck

I'll also consider trades with uprated suspension and wheels to suit a 924 lux.

scrub that as I've just bought some wheels, however they were more than I really wanted to pay so the roof is reduced to offers over £700. If theres no takers at this price I'll shift some of my stash of VW spares as keep the roof.

I'd keep it and wait for a wanted ad personally I cant see where its worth that kind of money. I notice from your e bay ad that you are only ten miles from me.

What kind of jewellery does your wife make ?

Hi Scott, where abouts are you located, what type of car (I'm guessing 944  )?

My wife make and repairs mainly gold and silver as well as having her own silver range.
