For those coming to watch, you might wish you were taking part.

I would bring some cash with you and we might let you play

Jon will be with us all day, he is sorting out his spanners and gizmo's :D

There a few companies selling track day insurance on the net. About £70 for a 944.

Starting to get excited now! Thermostat failed yesterday which caused a bit of a headache but got a new one in and back on track!

I have selected my weapon for tomorrow, it has been plucked from hibernation and given a quick service and check up, my skid lid is packed. So I am ready for my first outing at Blyton and my first trackday in about 10 years!

I am also packing one of the JMG Porsche diagnostics computers, some basic hand tools and a small bag of Porsche first aid parts, so if any of you guys have any worries or issues crop up, I will be there to offer you advice and lend a hand to keep you mobile. Do not be afraid of asking for help, its free and why I am there.

So tomorrow will be a day of two hats, a skid lid for the track and my TIPEC technical advice hat in the paddock. You will not be able to miss me, I will have a black top with JMG Porsche on it and may even roll up with my TIPEC T-Shirt with the old club logo and my name on it.

I hope you have all checked your cars or have had them checked over, have some top up oil and an air pressure gauge to check your tyres and are ready to have a great day tomorrow.

Ohhh.. the anticipation is killing me

Unfortunately my Turbo will not be joining the throng :( . It needs a bit more TLC than anticipated and wont be available for a few more days; However I will be there in the Volvo, no not on track, but will sling the Trolly Jack, Torque wrench, Pressure gauge and a few tools + Oil/Water in the boot.
Lets hope it stays fine.

Thanks Clive, that saves me having to bring along a trolly jack, which I was dreading sliding about in the Porsche on the way up there... Talking of which, I better be off!!!

Is there no Tarmac left oop North. I have driven on smoother cobbled roads. :)

The 4S is covered in salt, I am pleased I did not clean it before I set off.

The hotel is like going back in time, the further you walk from reception the older it gets :)

Beers good and a mixed grill is in the pan :bounce:

See you all in the morning.
