Wanted forged turbo rods, 3.0 turbo pistons
I'm looking for a good S2 or 968 crank, also a set of early 944 turbo forged rods. PM if you have some, thanks.

Why the 968 block in particular? and not the 2.7 you have? You looking for a block with piston squirters?
Clean it, wax it, love it, ENJOY it... then fix it

Just widening the search really Jon. Someone with a short 968 engine may not want to sell the crank seperately, plus if I found some forged turbo rods I wouldn't have to modify the girdle. The squirters would be a plus point but I'm guessing they could be fitted to a 2.7 block ?.jmgarage wrote:Why the 968 block in particular? and not the 2.7 you have? How much are you willing to pay for a 3.0 Crank? if you still have not found one, I might be tempted to let one of mine go (rude of me to horde them all!) lol

968 crank is a bit lighter I believe, other than that the actual crank is the same I think.wildoliver wrote:What's the difference between an S2 and 968 crank?
