the bottom of my rear window has unstuck from the soft top. the 996 2001 model was stuck on - not tooo go good really as other models i think were stitched.
1) glue it?
2) stitch a new pannel
3) replacement hood
Any suggestions?

Think your logic on the sequence of fixing is on the money.
It’s difficult to determine where to start though as not seen the extent of the problem.
Have you discussed the your situation with any hood manufacturers and/or supply and fit outfits, as I'm sure these guys could give you a good perspective on what your realistic options could be.
