Air versus water

Post by Pete917 »

Thought this looked interesting. An old 1974 911 versus a GT3 Cup Car..... The old girl does well.

or see it here: http://www.p101tv.com/videos/366/chasing-a-gt3-cup-car.

Turn the volume up on your PC. Sounds awesome....

he backed right off in the previous lap to let the white car by though, made for more entertainment!! great vid, think I remember one from a couple of years ago with a hot 996 TT against I think it was a 993 GT2, fab! and of course the correct outcome

Interesting to see the power/weight ratio, those old 911's are small, agile and light unlike the modern cars. Even my 993 looks small standing next to a 997, and tiny compared to a 996 bus.

It's interesting you say that. I was out yesterday and saw a 997 and realised just how much bigger they are than the old cars. I never realised.

Yep, against the 996 its even more pronounced, and of course they are much heavier cars also
