Stewart Gordon welcomed everyone along this evening and there was an excellent turnout once again with 16 porkers and 28 bodies at tonight’s meeting.

Welcome along Gary from trimline, Broxburn, Gary came along and was happy to answer any trim related questions etc i.e. fitting boxster rear windows, seats, carpet and related jobs with reference to any trim etc for your car. Many thank Gary for coming along this evening.

Next up was a presentation to Bill and Karen Niven on there trophy which was won at the Fastlane show at Corbridge last month and little known to them they departed the show without even knowing they had won a trophy from the North East Detailing. Well done to you both and Spud Mitchell has a picture of the cars that went that weekend if anyone wishes a copy.

Anyone still wishing to participate in the CCLASP charity day out on the 8th of August, please contact Stewart Gordon ASAP as time is running out for getting your disclosure Scotland forms done. Many thanks to all who are attending this day.
It was said that any booster seats required on that day would be provided by the parent or guardian on the day.

Next up was the up and coming events this weekend, Thirlstaine classic car show this Sunday 6th June. There are still a few passes for this show so anyone still wishing to come along please let Stewart Gordon know and he has the passes and all that are going please clearly display your pass on the windscreen on entering the show otherwise you will be shown to the public car park area. This show is a real mixed one and over 1500 cars of all vintage and something for everyone I am sure.
The meet details are as follows: Halfords car park, just of the Edinburgh city bypass at the straiton/penicuik junction for 08:30/09:00 depart for the show.

All those going to Gaydon have been contacted by e-mail and all arrangements are confirmed and all systems go for the National show, looking forward to that once again.

Next is the Tayside classic car show at Errol on the 13th June , we still have spaces for this show anyone wishing to go please contact myself on 07946616782 or neil@fraser72.freeserve.co.uk and I shall be more than happy to get a pass for you for that day another fine show folk’s. The meet details will be at the Stirling Granada Services for 08:15/08:45 depart for the show. There is a £2 charge per car for this one which goes to charity, will take money on the day for that one.

Just a wee reminder that Knockhill and Moffat shows are now full folk’s.

Next will be the Bridge of Allan classic car show on the 4th of July again there are a few spaces left for this show folks and there is always a auto jumble and entertainment for the kids at this show and the meet details will be Stirling services at 08:30/09:00 depart for the show. Next was an addition on the diary of events and that is an invitation from the RNLI to participate in raising funds for the RNLI and this will be at Anstruther near the beach I am told and all wishing to go please submit your name to Stewart. A well worthwhile cause ladies and gents and there will be all types of classic cars attending on the day which will be the 25th July, meet details to follow.

A big thank you letter was received from Rachel House for the money raised by the region for the children’s charity a total of £360 pounds was raised and it is a big thank you to all concerned.

Those of you members who require servicing or any other work to your Porsche, may I remind all that Brian Miller motors, Edinburgh TEL NO.0131 443 7806 IS A PORSCHE SPECIALIST AND IN GERMAN MARQUES. Brian is a Porsche trained mechanic and has over 40 years experience in the business.

A reminder also that anyone wishing to submit an article for the next ALL TORQUE magazine please get this into Tony ASAP to arrange. His contact details are tony@typescape.com He is looking for Porsche related articles or pictures possibly a project recently undertaken or recent trip out! So get pen to paper or fingers to the keyboard.

This venue has light refreshments and a car museum all under one roof not to mention a good sized car park.
