Seemed rude......

Post by ThreeTwo »

……not to take the 911 out. I’m on a day off and the sky is clear blue. It’s a bit chilly but the roads are dry and the recent rain has washed away the salt, grit and other crap that has been on the road – so it’s all good

Hood down, heating on and thankfully working well – oh and hat on (not so much hair to keep the head warm these days). Landed a few (quite a few as it goes) quids worth of Shell’s finest in the front end and I’ve just had a fabulous couple of hours. And there weren’t many others out on the roads. One or two BIG stops needed cos of the odd idiot going too slowly…..or was the idiot the one going too fast? Either way the speed differential needed a big shove on the middle peddle to save sad faces and tears

I’d like to thank Warwickshire County Council for having so many A roads and so few cameras.

Decisions decisions though…. Do I have a quick sandwich and go do it all again or do I clean the car so that it doesn’t get put away (slightly) dirty. Have to think about that one over lunch

If it's only slightly dirty, I'd say you need to get in a state that merits a good wash. Time for round 2 :boxing:

Then again AT has just landed (very lazy postmen here - think my road is the last one to be delivered to in the whole of the UK!) and its tempting to take a read of the latest mag.

Nah. Going again certainly seems like the fav plan. Think I'll go for the shorter route though - still gotta go via Shell (must get some shares one day). Don't think the car will mind waiting til the w.e. to get cleaned up

Decision made then...

Your outing sounded much more fun than mine. I came home after 90 mins having been confronted by every light being red, a queue of traffic at every roundabout/junction, numpties pulling out in front of me, pedestrians jaywalking, the level crossing being down and 3 trains passing through at 3 min intervals (twice because the queue was so long) and the final straw that broke the camels back was the chav scum walking his pet pit bull without a lead, (at least the brakes work on the 993) and an emergency stop to avoid the dog that ran in front of me.....

I shall try again next time that the sky is blue and the black stuff is dry.
I like it here...I think I'll stay!

Yep - its quite eye catching. Very low and very wide with no pink bits. If only every day or even every other day was as much fun as today.

Anyway - did you see me?
