Charity Fun Day

Post by PaulPSB »

Hi Folks

I am in the very early stages of planning a charity event that will hopefully take place next spring in partnership with a national childrens charity and will be held in the Birmingham/Wolverhampton area.

The event will be a funday with Bouncy castle, picnic, facepainting and other activities and I hope we can arrange for the kids to have short trips in our Porsches as part of the event provided there is enough support from the Club's membership. This will be a Central Region event but I hope members from other regions will support us on this one.

If you are willing to put yourself (and your car) forward for such an event can you please drop me a line so I can compile a list of willing volunteers.

If you don't fancy being a "taxi" on the day but are willing to help in some other way please let me know and again I will compile a list of volunteers.

Please note that as children are involved all volunteers must be willing to have a CRB check that will be carried out by the charity before the event.

I hope you all think this is a worthwhile enterprise for the Region & Club

Regards

Paul :D

Not yet - everything is up in the air at the minute. I just wanted an idea of how many volunteers would come forward to offer their cars as this in some way will determine the number of kids we can accomodate on the day

I'll keep you posted
