Prescott Classic Hillclimb Sunday May 10th 2009

Post by starboard147 »

The entry list for the next Prescott event is now open. :D This year's event is discussed here 'http://forums.tipec.net/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=391' so if you want to find out more about it, have a browse. I think that all would agree that it was a fantastic event, whether as a hillrunner, a static entry, or just a spectator. It was also a great opportunity for a number of regions to meet up and represent TIPEC in strength! Hopefully, we can have a repeat at next year's event.

For those of you that are worried about the pre-1980 stipulation, Geoff Kimber, the organiser, is content that all Porsches are 'interesting' so don't worry about bringing your Cayman!!

When you fill out the entry form, please enter 'TIPEC [your region]' as the Club so that groups get parked together.

Edit: The entry form is now in the zip file. Thanks Jim!!

See you all on the hill :bounce:

As the 2008 season draws to a close, can I bring this event back to the top of the pile... I know that next year's calendar is not uppermost in most people's minds however it's always good to get your entry for this one in early. So, whether you're a hell for leather person or fancy a more leisurely drive, why not have a go up the famous Prescott Hilllclimb course??

Will any of you be mobile or is a day for relaxing in the gazebo again?

I intend to be there too! Last year was great! SYNN group are deciding whether or not to make it part of our WOTY,but either way I m going to have another blast up the hill and if the weathers as good as last year ,maybe some lounging around as well. :)

Just had an e-mail from the organiser - there are still plenty of places available so don't get disappointed... get your entry in the post. Don't forget, ignore the 'classic' in the title as all Porsches are eligible!!!

Spoke to the organiser on Monday... starting to fill up now - under 80 places left. If you want to enter, better think about sending that cheque off!! It won't take long to fill up.
