Hi,
I am after some technical advice.
I have a faulty lambda sensor on my 986 Boxster 3.2s, are all 4 sensors the same?
Where is the best place to source these from?
Many thanks.
Pete

Re: Lambda Sensors
They are not all the same, I would go on the Bosch online catalogue, put in your cars details
That will give you the Bosch part numbers, then you can go to any Bosch automotive centre and pay about half what Porsche charge for a Bosch sensor

Re: Lambda Sensors
Do physically check your car first as I have just done mine on my 2001 S
All four sensors were the same.
If they're as seized as mine then you will need to remove the exhaust to get them out. Lots of heat, soaking in fluid and a 3ft breaker bar was required to remove mine. The sensors threads remained in the exhaust so you should by course do the threads with a M18 x 1.5 chaser.
Check online for prices, get genuine Bosch.
Torque them to 33 fl/lb
