Wax

Spent hours this morning cleaning the 64, used that rockhard wax that i got from the raceglaze man at gaydon.
Its hard work to apply and to get off, am i doin sumthing wrong?

It does look good thou, then the heavens opened

Sorry I wouldn't know currently an Auto Glym user but Paul Greer my ARO polished my with Meguiars the other week before Gaydon & it looked so good I maybe a convert

You're supposed to put it on with your bare hands, nice and warm.

If you found it hard to get off, you've put too much on or let it dry too long.

A good tip if that happens is to get a plant spray and apply a light mist over the polish then wipe off.

I think i left the wax on for about 10-15 mins before i removed it, oops. On the tub it says leave for 2-3 mins! Didnt look at that b4

It was me at Gaydon who you purchased it from, and it is rather critical to read the label to get the best from it.

At least you won't have to do it for months now - longeveity is a key feature of this product.

We've got a guy who uses it on his Dads car which is parked on a sea wall, and its lasted 3 months already...

Not that I'd leave a 911 parked outside in certain parts of the country..at least, I wouldn't tell my insurer (cue host of flame mail...)
