Hello team,

I have recently moved to Surrey (Haslemere to be exact), from London, where I would always go to Jaz Porsche to have my car taken care of. I am coming up to the point where I need an MOT doing, and was wondering if anybody knew of a good independent garage I could take the car to nearer where I live to save me having to trawl up the M25.

If you fancy a nice drive , you can go to JMG in Ferndown nr Bournemouth, should take just over an hour from you

Alternatively cross country to Horley and 9 Excellence might not be a bad drive.
Ken at 9e has a very good reputation esp with Turbos.

I've had my car serviced by GT-One in Chertsey for the past 4 years and they've given me very good service. Pete is always happy to spend time to explain exactly that the problem is, what they did, and if you want, show you the car when it's in bits so you can see for yourself.

If you pop around you'll often see 968s, 964s, 993s, 928s, Boxters, etc. up on ramps being worked on.

I and my neighbour both use GT-One in Chertsey on a regular basis. The guys are good to talk two and are always helpful on the phone.

If you are worried about rust - I'd wait till the floods clear down there... ))
