We now meet regularly at ‘The Woolpack’ on the FOURTH Tuesday of each month. Our meetings start at about 7.30pm, and at least one of the organisers will normally be at the venue from 6.30pm onwards and will look forward to welcoming you. Good food is available from 5.30pm. (Just click on the link below to see a sample menu).   You don’t have to be a TIPEC member to come along and see what we are about, but you do have to be a Porsche enthusiast!

John Briggs has decided to end his roll as committee chair and also as RO.
Thanks again for John’s support in his rolls over the past few years, and I’m sure he`ll keep an eye on us all in the future!!
So now is the time, to get your place on the steering committee.

Our club meet at The Woolpack in July was the best attended yet, closely followed by August,  given the time of year and the fact that a few regulars were on holiday.
We had a very constructive meeting and some good ideas were put forward by virtually everybody who attended. It was suggested that we meet at a different venue on occasion, for a change of scenery and to shorten travel distances for some. Unfortunately, we are bound by TIPEC’s rules, that state we must have a regular base at a set time and place each month. a second meet each month at The Alma, School Road, Copford, Colchester. CO6 1BZ.

If there is enough interest this will be carried forward into new year.

Another suggestion was to arrange a breakfast meet followed by a drive out along some nice roads to take in the scenery and stretch the legs on ye ole Pigs!

As always, we encourage suggestions and feedback from all members, so please feel free to email at any time.

Cars by the Lake in Bury St Edmunds

Our Nürburgring trip to the Old Timers Classic, report in the next edition of All Torque, will give you a little insight.

Next I’d like to point out again that our Facebook page is the normal first point of contact to the region, we will try to mirror where possible to email to stop people from missing out, but spur of the moment outing will be Facebook oriented due to logistics & data protection we now have to abide to…. Blar blar blar.

I will sign off for now, wishing you all a great summer to enjoy our fantastic cars.
