Who?

All paid up members and also non members are welcome  –  please feel free to come along and see what we’re all about.  Bring your Porsche and join in the fun.

There’s always plenty of banter and lots of chat about Porsche, and non Porsche topics. We have many members with lots of knowledge about Porches who are always willing to help, we even have members who are Porsche Trained Technicians and run their own Independent Porsche Specialists.

When?

On the 2nd Monday of every month from 7pm, or come a little earlier if you want to grab some food as many of us do. – generally our R.O Richard Sholl gets club business going at 8pm. We are located inside the pub, just ask one of the staff to point you in our direction!

The Club is organised via our network of regions. Every region will hold monthly informal meetings for members and partners to socialise.  Our meetings are a great way to find out the best places to go locally for service, repairs, parts and who offer member discounts. Each region will organise their own additional events throughout the year, these will typically include, weekends away, country drives, car shows, museum trips and we also have frequent breakfast meets and Friday evening meals (Chippy tea etc) that prove to be very popular. Remember everyone is welcome  – just pop along and come inside The Bowling Green – we are a very friendly bunch and welcome everyone the same, whether you have a £500 Porsche 924 as a project car or a brand new 911 GT3 – you will find both and more at the Club meets!

Simply Porsche 2018 Review

Simply Porsche  2018   at Beaulieu

The sun came out, and so did a record number of cars  – A 62 per cent increase in Porsches’ on display at  Beaulieu’s Simply Porsche 2018   versus last years attendance.

The event’s success continues Beaulieu’s bumper 2018 season of Simply rallies, which saw a strong start for the first Simply Audi and record numbers at Simply Ford.

Held in association with The Independent Porsche Enthusiasts’ Club, Simply Porsche saw every era of the sports car marque’s history represented in the vibrant display. From early 1950s machines right up to the latest models, there was something to please every fan of these finely-engineered German sports cars at the event in the grounds of the National Motor Museum.

A selection of Porsche 356s from the 1950s and 1960s could be found parked up with examples of the V8-powered 928, the high performance GT3 and GT4, the Cayman and open-top Boxster and Spyder. 911s ranging from the 1960s up to the very latest incarnations were well-represented in the line-up.

A variety of trade stands offered a range of accessories, from brochures and model cars to stereo systems and soundproofing, while Porsche specialist Brookspeed displayed a selection of Porsches for sale.

The sun definitely shone for Simply Porsche, which as ever saw every era of the sports car marque’s history represented but in the most spectacularly huge way ever. The legendary Porsche 911 was well-represented in the diverse rally line-up along with pretty much every other model in the range.

70 years on from when Porsche started  building cars combined with  25th Anniversary for us at The Independent Porsche Enthusiast Club,  2018 is certainly a vintage year.

We cant wait till next year and hope  to see you there!
